Who we are
Dočasky.cz, z. s. – its beginning and story.
Docasky.cz was founded by group of people who have their own experience with taking temporary care of an animal in need. We would like to make use of the already existing network and move the cooperation with other institutions, active volunteers and operators of animal shelters to a better and more professional level. We know that everybody engaged in rescuing animals is busy and has a lot of work to do. We know that the whole system needs to be changed. AN ANIMAL CANNOT BE A THING. We have set high goals – we would like to adjust the current rules for nation-wide animal microchipping and evidence, reduce breeding of animals without a pedigree, set minimal standards for keeping animals… But before achieving these goals, we are helping animals who need our help today. So far, we have helped these animals.
